You're Cutting GymInstead of hitting the gym, many people suffering from fatigue will take a nap. While this may feel like a good idea at the time, it's actually not! Skipping your workout will actually work against you, as exercise helps to increase your energy levels. Just doing a few minutes of workout every day will help to energize your body, so it's better to go light if you feel tired rather than skip the workout altogether.
You're Not HydratingWhen you are dehydrated, fatigue is one of the first symptoms you'll notice. Even just a 2% dehydration can lead to SERIOUS fatigue, as the lack of water causes your blood to thicken--making it much harder for your heart to pump. Instead of giving in to the "sleepies", get yourself to the kitchen and down a few glasses of water. You may find your energy is back one you finish!
You're Not Getting Enough IronIron is an important mineral that your body needs, as it plays a role in the production of red blood cells. Red blood cells transport oxygen and food throughout your bloodstream, so a lack of iron can lead to a lack of oxygen and nutrients for your body. If you regularly feel fatigued, you may want to examine your diet to see if there is a way to eat more iron.

It's actually better to eat four or five smaller meals throughout the day, as that gives you a steady stream of energy.
You Eat the Wrong FoodYou may think that eating high-carb foods is going to give you a lot of energy, but the truth is that high-carb foods cause energy spikes--followed by crashes. You'll have a lot of energy for a few minutes, and then your body will compensate for the high blood sugar levels by overproducing insulin. You'll find yourself drowsing off after a meal of the wrong foods, so make sure to eat high-fiber, high-protein foods.
