Training Exercise to Increase Metabolism

Boosting the metabolism in order to lose weight is one of the best ways for fast results. Almost any exercise will help raise the metabolism to some degree if done correctly but some exercises are better than others for faster fat burning results. Weight training exercises are some of the best for boosting the metabolic rate to speed weight loss. The best exercises to accomplish this are those that allow the trainer to produce more effort. Basic exercises like squats, leg press, dead lifts, bench press and are just a few multi-joint exercises that can create a greater degree of effort. It's the intensity of effort that causes the metabolism to speed up. This is because high exercise effort tends places huge stresses on the muscles and nervous system, this changes the whole physiology within the body as it tries to recover from the stress. Although high intensity sounds like lots of effort to produce good results, the positive side to it is the routines to boost the metabolism must remain brief. Training hard breaks down muscle cells very quickly compared to aerobic exercises therefore they must remain brief so the muscles don't break down too much which can lower the metabolism through loss of lean muscle.

Below is a basic weight training routine to boost the metabolism. Weight training to lose weight wont suit everyone and for this reason you should consult your doctor before following any weight training routine to lose weight.
