Breakfast is the most important meal of the day–it’s a well-known fact, one that you hear over and over. But what are you having for breakfast? Do you start your day with something healthy, or do you usually eat food that is delicious but not too nutritious? Here are a few of the best healthy breakfasts to add to your menu:
Greek Quinoa Breakfast
If you want a protein-packed breakfast, you’ll LOVE this combination! It’s a cup-sized portion of quinoa, topped with a fried or poached egg, and served with tomatoes and cucumbers. There’s even a bit of dill and yoghurt dressing to top it all, giving you a bright, fresh flavor to start the day. It’s definitely a brilliant, well-balanced breakfast to enjoy.
Whole Wheat Waffles
Instead of using white flour, use whole wheat to cook up a few waffles. Add a bit of salt into the batter to make them salty, and top your waffles with eggs, cheese, diced tomatoes, and grilled onions.
